2019 was a big year for Spirit League (sports league for special needs athletes). Here are a few highlights:
- Celebrated 15-year Anniversary with largest basketball and soccer seasons ever
- Completed successful Pilot Adult Basketball League for special needs athletes 18 years and older in City of Mission Viejo
- Granted nearly $9,000 in athlete scholarships
- Appreciated nearly 80 coaches and 75 Team Mentors who volunteered on gamedays plus launched an Online Team Mentor Training Program
- Hired 3 additional Game Day Assistants
- Reached Bronze Level Seal of Transparency on GuideStar, online review site for non-profits
- Featured in City of Mission Viejo promotional video and Covenant Hills Living and RePlay Magazines
