Maxwell Rideout, one of Spirit League’s newest Division III athletes, had an unforgettable experience at the Angels game this spring. It wasn’t just about baseball; it was about feeling like a star. “I get to walk on the field,” she said excitedly, still buzzing from the memory.
“And see big Angels!” she added, referring to her excitement at wearing her Angels Spirit League uniform while walking out and seeing the professional team.
For Maxwell, who recently joined the League, the afternoon was a huge confidence boost. She got to be part of something special with her teammates, surrounded by cheers and the golden glow of gameday.
Her mom shared, “She felt so proud and included. It meant the world to her and to us.”
Since starting with Spirit League, Maxwell has been loving her time on the court, the field, and the diamond. Division III is all about learning the basics, meeting new friends, and having fun. And she’s jumped right in.
From shooting hoops on Saturdays to standing on a Major League field, Maxwell is getting the full Spirit League experience – and it is only the beginning.
