Spirit League is honored to be recognized as the 2026 Nonprofit of the Year by the Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce! We scooped up our award on Friday, June 12 during the Chamber’s annual luncheon. Several of our partners with the City of Mission Viejo joined us to share in this honor. According to a Facebook post from the Chamber of Commerce, Spirit League’s Nonprofit of the Year award “reflects the dedication of Spirit League’s leadership, coaches, volunteers, families, and community partners who continue to create meaningful opportunities for autistic, neurodivergent, and developmentally disabled athletes throughout Southern California. We are proud to celebrate organizations like Spirit League that strengthen our community through inclusion, empowerment, and service.”

To Spirit League’s Board of Directors members, staff, coaches, volunteers, and all of the parents, families and caretakers who are lifting Spirit League to new heights, thank you. This award recognizes all of our efforts to continually evolve and elevate the League, bringing a new level of quality and service to more participants than ever before. These efforts are being noticed!
